INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 13, 2015)– Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents arrested a suspect accused of forging prescriptions of reputable cancer doctors, sources close to the investigation tell FOX59.

Juwann Williams was walked out of his apartment in handcuffs Friday night. Police say he is part of a ring of people who are believed to be manufacturing prescriptions, mostly for Oxycodone.

Police say the suspects forge prescriptions, then go into local pharmacies with stolen IDs saying, “I’m picking  up a prescription for a a relative” and then the victim is charged for the pills.

Williams’ car will also be towed.

Sources say it was a report from FOX59 that sparked this investigation and ultimately led to Williams’ arrest.
