LOGANSPORT, Ind. (April 8, 2015)– Cass County Sheriff Randy Pryor says three adult dogs were found fatally shot and five puppies were found dead in Logansport. In a separate but nearby location, five other puppies were found dead.

Eight dogs, three adults and five puppies, were found in a ditch on County road 800 South between county roads 1000 East and 1100 East. The other five puppies were found not far away. Two were found on the road and three were found in a nearby swamp.

It appeared that the animals had been left in the area for at least a week. All thirteen animals are the same breed: Bluetick Coonhound.
