ATLANTA (April 27, 2015) – A teenage boy is in the hospital after a group of boys poured boiling rice on him after a fight over video games.

Damon Clay, 17, is in the ICU in a medically induced coma with burns covering 70 percent of his body.

Clay’s family told WSB that he was attacked while he was sleeping. “He’s scarred for the rest of his life. His life will never be the same,” the teen’s aunt said.

The attack came after two of Clay’s friends accused him of stealing a PlayStation 3.

Clay’s neighbor Laprell Grant  told WSB, “They were friends. Everybody was supposed to be friends.”

Doctors will try to take Clay off of a ventilator on today, and then they will try to do more surgery.

The two attackers Quintavious Barber, 19, and Malik Moton, 18, are facing charges including aggravated assault and cruelty to a child.
