INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 3, 2015) – On Wednesday, May 6, Fox59 will compete in The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Cook-Off. The event will raise funds for The Bed & Bread Club which provides nutritious meals through feeding programs, nights of shelter for the homeless, assistance with rent or utilities to prevent folks from becoming homeless in the first place, and more.

Our chefs Fanchon Stinger and Dan Spehler will be serving up Blue Cheese Burgers with a Whiskey Glaze and Fried Onions from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Georgia Street. Special guest Miss Indiana USA will also be joining us to dish out the tastiest burgers in the competition!

Our over-the-top burger features blue cheese crumbles, a tangy whisky glaze and a mountain of crispy onions.  The burgers will be served with a side and a drink for $10, and all proceeds benefit the local programs and services of The Salvation Army.

Our goal is to sell the most burgers in order to raise the most money for The Salvation Army, so if you can’t make it to the cook-off, you can still help us win by donating to the event here!
