INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 22, 2015)– A Perry Meridian High School student was arrested Friday after allegedly pulling a knife on the school’s assistant principal.

The unidentified 18-year-old female student entered Assistant Principal Kyle Scaringe’s office with a knife in her hand. The student wielded the knife “in a threatening manner” at Scaringe, the school said in a statement.

Scaringe restrained the student and was able to keep her subdued until police arrived. The student will be expelled and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, according to school officials.
