Indianapolis police investigate circumstances surrounding death of 26-year-old man

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 15, 2015) – Indianapolis police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an Indianapolis man on the near northwest side Sunday.

On July 12, at approximately 7:47 p.m., IMPD officers were sent to the 3300 block of North Barnes Avenue on a report of a body in a wooded area.

When officers arrived they found a deceased male suffering from trauma to his upper body.

The male was later identified as Ryan Gallet, 26.

Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Gallet’s death.
