INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 8, 2015) – Fox 59 proudly joined forces with the Mozel Sanders Foundation to help raise money for central Indiana families.

Our Fanchon Stinger hosted the Black and White Gala at the Lucas Oil estate.

She was joined by several former Pacers’ players and many Hoosier heroes from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.

Money raised at Saturday night’s dinner and auction help support the Mozel Sanders Foundation and their year round efforts to feed local families.

Last year the foundation and over 2,000 volunteers served over 40,000 meals from 45 locations. This year there is an increasing need in Hamilton, Johnson and Marion counties.

“It`s in Fishers, it`s in Carmel, it`s everywhere it has no color, it has no address, people are hungry,” Stephanie Sanders-Yung, president of the Mozel Sanders Foundation said.

The goal this year is to feed 45,000 people for Thanksgiving dinner.

The foundation hopes to raise $20,000.
