State Police K-9 sniffs out drugs during Bike Fest traffic stop

NASHVILLE, Ind. (September 12, 2015)–Indiana State Police assigned officers of its Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Section to patrol rural Brown County in conjunction with Bike Fest being held in the area.

During a traffic stop Trooper Allen Deed and his K-9 partner Drogos alerted officers to narcotics in the vehicle.

As officers searched the vehicle, they found a large quantity of methamphetamine, syringes, and other drug paraphernalia.

Troopers arrested the driver, 25-year-old Jenny Lazado of Morgantown and 48-year-old Steven Sullivan of Decatur, Indiana.

Both are charged with possession of the items found. The pair were taken to the Brown County Jail.
