Person found fatally shot in car on northeast side Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 13, 2015) – An Indianapolis man was fatally shot on the city’s northeast side early Sunday morning.

Just after 1:00 a.m., IMPD officers were sent to the 4000 block of North Ritter Avenue on a report of man sitting inside a vehicle “slumped back” and bleeding.

Officers arrived and found a male victim with multiple apparent gunshot wounds sitting inside the driver’s side of a car.

EMS personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.

The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Antonio Triblet of Indianapolis.

Detectives have not yet released any other information including suspect information; however they do not suspect this shooting was a random act.
