Participants raise more than $70K in Lung Force Walk
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 13, 2015) – More than $70,000 was raised downtown today for the American Lung Association during the Lung Force Walk.
It kicked off this afternoon at White River State Park.
Several thousand walkers turned out to help raise money for lung cancer.
Lung Force is a national campaign focused on raising awareness about lung cancer in women.
“We really need women to know their risks, we need to raise funding to research what`s going on and we need to raise awareness,” said Tanya Husain with the American Lung Association.
