Martinsville police find missing K9 officer

UPDATE: The missing K9 officer was found.

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (September 17, 2015) — The Martinsville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in finding a missing K9 officer.

According to their Facebook page, the K9 officer is a German Shepard and is black and brown in color.

Police say the dog was let out of his pen sometime during the evening hours. He was at home with his handler in the area of South Ohio Street.

The dog’s name is Citar, and he is 15 months old.
