Woman arrested for battery after hitting Kokomo police officer

KOKOMO, Ind. (September 28, 2015) – Kokomo police were serving a warrant for home detention, but they ended up arresting the suspect on multiple charges.

Police were serving the warrant to Amanda Sullivan, 37, at her home Monday, but when they found her she gave them a fake name and fled the area.

When police caught up with her, she fought with them and punched an officer in the arm.

No one was seriously hurt.

Sullivan was charged with battery, false informing, and resisting law enforcement.
