(Nov. 9, 2015) – If you’ve shopped at Bed Bath & Beyond, you’re probably familiar with the retailer’s 20 percent off coupons.
But it looks like those may soon be a thing of the past. According to Business Insider, the promotion has cut into profits even though revenue is up.
Customers are used to using the discount to buy things at Bed Bath & Beyond, and they’re not purchasing items at full price. They’re also waiting for those coupons to arrive instead of going to the store to browse.
It also doesn’t help that the coupons don’t expire.
Store officials told investors they’re scaling back on the 20 percent off coupons.
