Accused Texas killer caught in Indiana
TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (Nov. 19. 2015) – A Texas murder suspect was apprehended in Indiana Tuesday.
David James Brown, 22, was sought in connection with a homicide in Montgomery County, Texas. Texas authorities identified Brown as the prime suspect in the death of Marc Pourner, 28, who was located near his burned vehicle in a wooded area on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Investigators received a tip that Brown might be hiding at a home in Tippecanoe County and coordinated with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department. Officers staked out the home where Brown was believed to be staying and followed him to Delphi, where they took him into custody without incident in a CVS parking lot.
Brown was booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail on Tuesday night. He faces a capital murder charge in Texas.
