Warming trend on the way into the holiday weekend

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 22, 2015)--Good Sunday evening! It was a cold day with temperatures this morning in the teens in Indy and how about Frankfort recording a temperature of just zero degrees! Highs this afternoon were in the 20s and low 30s areawide.

Tonight expect a partly cloudy sky with lows in the low 20s and south winds 5-15 mph. Monday will bring highs in the low 40s in the city with a mostly sunny sky and a southwest wind 10-15 mph gusting to 20 mph.

SKY - Forecast Tomorrow

Tuesday will start out with fog and give way to sunshine. Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s. Winds will begin to pick up again Wednesday and be rather gusty into Thursday and Friday.

Our next weather system moves in by the end of the week. Ahead of it, temperatures will rise to the upper 50s by Thanksgiving Day with a slight chance of rain in the evening. The best chance of rain will be Friday and it may be heavy at times.
