INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 25, 2015) – The Indianapolis Colts are the latest to be involved in the NFL’s global outreach program as part of the UK International Series.

They’ll meet the Jacksonville Jaguars Oct. 2, 2016 at London’s Wembley Stadium. To accommodate the travel issues, the Colts are expected to have their bye the following weekend.

“It’s good for our brand and it’s good for the league,’’ said Pete Ward, the team’s chief operation officer. “You have to consider the jet lag, but everyone’s in the same boat with that.’’

It’s the fourth season the Jaguars will be “hosting’’ an AFC South rival in London.

The Colts are no strangers to playing outside the country, but this marks the first time they will do so during the regular season. They previously played preseason games in Mexico City, Tokyo and Toronto.
