INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Indiana Attorney General's Office is looking for victim's of a local roofing company that apparently went out of business and left homeowners with crumbling roofs.
Devoran Prado is one of those victims.
In 2013, a bad hail storm damaged her south-east side home. That's when Cool Breeze Construction showed up and offered to fix her roof.
She had a 5-year warranty, but this year her shingles started falling off.
"There’s no shingles," said Prado. "It’s like they melted off."
She tried to get a hold of the company, but didn't have any luck.
Even the Better Business Bureau tried to reach out to the business multiple times.
FOX59 found out that the Attorney General's office have received multiple complaints about Cool Breeze Construction and has filed a lawsuit.
Officials are asking other victims to come forward and file a complaint.
Prado has hired another company to fix her roof. This time, her insurance won't be covering the work. Instead, she will have to pay more than $11,000 out-of-pocket.
"I just want them to pay for what they've done. I want them to pay for my roof," she said.
