INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 12, 2015)—Some downtown trees have been dressed in scarves this weekend. It’s not to keep the trees warm this winter, but instead, put them in a place where people in need can grab them.

Members of the motorcycle club “317 Ryders” are continuing their community service by giving back this winter season.

They’ve been busy tying scarves around random trees at University Park in downtown Indianapolis.

These scarves are mainly for people who live on the streets or in shelters and need some extra clothing to keep warm.

“Scarves 4 Indy” are meant to be taken by anyone that needs one.

Hats, gloves jackets and blankets will also be given away.
