Shelbyville police search for suspects in armed robbery at CVS

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (December 13, 2015) – Shelbyville police are searching for three suspects in connection with an armed robbery at CVS early Sunday morning.

Officers received an alarm at the CVS located on East Broadway Street at 3 a.m. A robbery had just taken place and the suspects had fled the area.

The Shelbyville Police Department is looking for three males in connection with this robbery. All three males were described as being in their late teens to early twenties.

Two of the males were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, and the third male had on a gray hooded sweatshirt with a blue liner and blue draw strings.

One male advised the employee it was an armed robbery, but he did not show the employee a firearm.

Officers later located a firearm on the property.

One suspect fled out the drive thru window and another suspect ran out the front door.  There is no information on how the third suspect fled the scene. They got away with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs.

At this time the suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
