We had a beautiful Christmas Eve Day complete with sunshine and temperatures in the 50s! Our brief break from precipitation will continue overnight and through most of Christmas Day. Clouds will increase overnight with temperatures falling into the lower 40s.
Christmas day will start off with mostly cloudy skies but sunshine will return midday. Temperatures will once again be well above normal in the lower 50s.
Our next storm system will move up from the south bringing more cloud cover and a few showers in far southern areas late in the evening on Christmas Day. Rain becomes more widespread with thunderstorms Saturday afternoon. The rain continues into Monday with 3 to 5 inches of rain possible.
If you have been hoping for some colder temperatures you are in luck as they are finally back in the forecast!
