INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 24, 2015)–Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man they say fired shots at police following a vehicle pursuit earlier this week.

Police are looking for Kennic Brown who has been identified as a suspect in the attempted murder of an IMPD officer.

Brown currently has active warrants for resisting law enforcement, drunk driving, and possession of a controlled substance.

Police have arrested two women in connection with the investigation.  Shelby Moors and Sicily Moors have been charged with false reporting, obstruction of justice, and assisting a criminal.

On December 22, 2015 Metro Police say suspects fired shots at officers during a chase on the southeast side.

No one was hurt, but police say one bullet hit a squad car while another hit a nearby apartment, just narrowly missing a young child inside.
