Now on to January! Saturday, January 2, will bring some patchy freezing fog with temperatures in the mid-20s in the morning. Visibility may below 10 miles in spots. We'll see some sunshine on Saturday with highs in the mid-30s. Highs on Sunday will be near 30 degrees. There's a chance of passing flurries this weekend.
As a trough of low pressure deepens over Indiana into Monday, snow showers can't be ruled out especially to our north and east. Temperatures will run near average the next couple of days with a pattern change coming next weekend.
Temperatures will climb to the low 40s Thursday and Friday with a chance of rain on Friday. That Saturday, January 9, we'll be watching for the possibility of measurable snowfall. The weather pattern definitely gets more active thereafter with several snow chances in the long term. Stay tuned! --Danielle Dozier
