Police investigate downtown hit-and-run crash involving 3 vehicles

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 25, 2016) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are investigating a hit-and-run crash downtown.

According to dispatchers, the intersection of Alabama and Ohio streets was blocked after the crash, which involved three vehicles. Several police cars and an ambulance were at the scene.

Police said a car was going the wrong way down Alabama Street when it hit two other vehicles. The driver then ran off, leaving the car behind. Police believe they know who the driver is.

No one was seriously hurt, police said.
