Lawrence police release sketch of suspect in armed credit union robberies

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 4, 2016)– Lawrence police and the FBI are working to identify suspects involved in a series of armed robberies that began in June 2015 at the Lawrence KEMBA Credit Union at 5625 Sunnyside Road.

An IMPD composite sketch artist assisted investigators by working with witnesses to create a sketch of one of the suspects in the latest robbery, which occurred on Feb. 24.

Police described the suspect in the sketch as a male in his mid-20s. He was wearing dark clothing, had a white mask and a black hooded sweatshirt.
