Man struck, killed in Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (March 4, 2016) – A man died after being struck by a vehicle late Thursday night in Hancock County.

The victim, identified as Kyle Gully, 20, Greenfield, was helping offload a vehicle from a wrecker at the time. He was struck and killed around 11 p.m. on CR 200 West, according to investigators in Hancock County. The truck was in the southbound lane; Gully had stepped in the northbound lane when a Ford Focus hit him.

The driver of the Ford, Darcie Huber, 18, was treated and released at Hancock Regional Hospital.

Police said there are no indications of driver impairment or criminal activity in connection with the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
