INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 10, 2016)- The men’s Big Ten basketball tournament is back at Bankers Life Fieldhouse through Sunday, March 13.

Fans from all over will be in Indy to take in the action on the court, but there are also a lot of other things they can do outside of cheering on their team.

The Big Ten logo is in place on Monument Circle to welcome fans to the city and serve as a nice background for pictures.

The 8th annual Big Ten Career Expo is Thursday, March 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Union Station. This event is open to current students and alumni from all Big Ten colleges. Participants can register on-site for the career expo. Nearly 50 companies will be at the expo fair to speak with prospective employees and interns.

“There’s just tremendous academic and great students and alumni. We’ve seen it in the past, when we hire people and the career professionals really have that in the past. They’ve hired people and it’s been very successful and they’ve been very complimentary of this event,” said Donna Wilkinson with Pacers Sports and Entertainment.

Fans can also run a 5K and support their team on Saturday, March 12. The Big Ten Hoops Day 5K race begins at 8 a.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Participants are encouraged to run in their team’s colors. Organizers say if you don’t feel like running, you’re welcome to walk.
