The 2016 BMW Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club has already exceeded its volunteer recruitment goal.

More than 2,200 positions have been filled by volunteers from 29 states and four countries.

The event set for September 6-11 is expected to attract more than 150,000 fans with a $30 million economic impact on Central Indiana.

“We are extremely proud and excited to once again host the BMW Championship and the world’s top professional golfers at Crooked Stick,” said Kent Frandsen, club president. “We exceeded our volunteer goals for the 2012 BMW Championship. To be able to do it again in 2016 is a true testament to our community, the hard work of our staff and Crooked Stick’s commitment to once again provide the best experience possible for all of those who attend.”

All volunteer positions are currently filled, but a waiting list has been started. For more information on joining the list, click here.
