Man robbed at gunpoint seeks refuge at Indianapolis church

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 10, 2016) — A man robbed at gunpoint and injured runs into a local church for help.

Reverend Charles Harrison, with the Ten Point Coalition, said just after 8 p.m. Saturday, a 46-year-old man entered Barnes Church seeking help.

The man told police he was robbed and hit in the head with a gun.

Reverend Harrison said “I am just glad we were here to be able to help this man.”

Police are searching for three suspects.

Reverend Harrison and Barnes Church have been actively trying to stop violence around Indianapolis.
