INDIANAPOLIS (April 13, 2016) – An anonymous tip led police to an east side Indianapolis home and resulted in the arrest of a man wanted on several outstanding warrants.

According to Indiana State Police, Jeremy Riffert was wanted on warrants on a parole violation for being a habitual traffic violator and for possession of marijuana. State troopers also learned the residence in the 90 block of N. Routiers may contain an indoor marijuana growing operation. They acted on the tip around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence and served it with help from the ISP SWAT team. Riffert was arrested without incident at the home. Investigators recovered two firearms, about 50 legend drug pills, 20 schedule IV pills and six marijuana plants.

Riffert was taken to the Marion County Jail and held on the outstanding charges against him. Additional charges will be filed concerning the recovered drugs and firearms, investigators said.
