Ted Cruz in Lebanon, IN

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 25, 2016) – Today marks the start of a big political week in Indiana. Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz continues to criss cross the Hoosier state, just one day after announcing a partnership with the John Kasich campaign.

Cruz has four different stops planned in Indiana today.

  • 10:30 a.m. – Rally  in Borden, Indiana at Huber’s Plantation Hall (19816 Huber Road Borden, IN 47106)
  • 2:00 p.m – Retail stop in Columbus, Indiana at Zaharakos Ice Cream Shop (329 Washington Street Columbus, IN 47201)
  • 4:00 p.m. – Retail stop Greenwood, Indiana at Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza (401 Market Plaza Greenwood, IN 46142)
  • 6:30 p.m. – Rally in Franklin, Indiana Rally at Johnson County Fairgrounds (250 Fairground Street Franklin, IN 46131)

This all comes as CBS releases a new poll, showing Donald Trump leading the GOP field in the Hoosier state, but not by much. Trump polled with 40 percent of likely voters, Cruz polled with 35 percent, and Kasich coming in third with 20 percent.
