INDIANAPOLIS – Police are searching for a suspect after he allegedly pinned a man to a house with a car early Thursday morning.
IMPD officers were sent to the 500 block of Clyde Avenue on the east side shortly after 1 a.m. after a fight was reported in the area.
According to police, a caller told dispatch officers that someone had a gun, was struck by a car and pinned against a house.
When officers arrived on scene, they say they found one person pinned to a house by a vehicle. Firefighters and police extricated the person and transported to Eskenazi with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they found a semi-automatic handgun next to man who was pinned to the house.
According to officers, the driver of the striking vehicle had fled the scene, but did not provide a description.
