INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are asking for help identifying a man who broke into a local business earlier this year.

According to IMPD, the man broke a window at Bolton’s Tobacco, 2017 W. Morris St., and tried to steal some Indianapolis Colts jerseys on Jan. 6, 2016. The jerseys were chained to a metal, however, and the man gave up. Police said he then jumped over a counter and stole several cartons of cigarettes.

The burglary suspect then left through the busted window and got into a light-colored SUV that may have been a Buick Rendezvous. Surveillance cameras captured images of the man.
