Helicopter airlifts horseback rider thrown from horse

BROWN COUNTY, Ind. – A horseback rider had to be airlifted to the hospital after being thrown from her horse Saturday.

Conservation officers say Gina Glover, 48, was riding her horse along a road in Brown County State Park around 3 p.m., when her horse was spooked by a passing motorcycle and bucked her off.

Officers say Glover suffered head and facial injuries. She was airlifted to Methodist Hospital. No condition is available at this time.
