Man stabbed at downtown pub

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 7, 2016)–Metro police made a quick arrest after a stabbing at a downtown bar, early Saturday.

Shortly after 2 a.m. police were called to the 200 block of South Meridian street on a report of a man stabbed at The Claddagh Irish Pub .

When they arrived they found a male suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen.  27-year-old Ryan Moore of Indianapolis was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a severe cut and possible internal injuries.

Officers quickly gathered information and were able to apprehend a suspect a short distance from the scene.

23-year-old James Davis Tilbury of Indianapolis was charged with aggravated battery and taken to the Arrestee Processing Center.
