INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — It’s become an annual tradition – thousands of runners gather for the Mini Marathon ahead of the Indy 500.
This year was no different, with runner MacDonald Ondara taking first place with a time of 1:02:03. The female winner was Ogla Kimaiyo with a time of 1:11:43. Both are from Kenya. Wheelchair race winner Gyu Dae Kim of Champaign, Ill set a new course record of 51:26.
