Four people shot in parking garage downtown Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –Four people were sent to the hospital early Sunday morning after getting shot in a parking garage in downtown Indianapolis.

Officers say they were already in the area of South Meridian and Georgia streets when they heard gunshots ring out around 3 a.m. They ran in the direction of the gunshots and discovered four people shot in the 300 block of South Meridian Street.

Two were found shot in a parking garage, and two were found shot in an alley nearby.

All four shooting victims were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

Police believe they have a suspect in custody. They’re not looking for any other persons of interest at this time.
