Two vehicles crash into home on Indy’s west side, believed to be intentional act

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two vehicles crashed into a home on the west side of Indianapolis Monday morning causing significant damage to the structure.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Inland Drive East and Dunsany Lane around 8 a.m.

According to police, the crash may have been the result of a domestic incident. Police say Eynard Blandon-Ruiz, 21, used an SUV to run his ex-girlfriend off the road and into the home.

After the crash, the woman stayed in the car and called 911, and the man ran to a nearby apartment complex and banged on the doors asking for help.

Medics found him, returned him to the scene and treated him for injuries.

He was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness and vandalism.
