Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office finds missing 17-year-old boy

Update (July 14, 2016) — The teenager was safely located Thursday morning, and a woman was arrested following the investigation. We have removed the teenager’s name and picture since he is a juvenile.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. — The Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a missing 17-year-old.

The teen was last seen leaving his home in the area of State Road 43 and County Road 600 North around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says he is 5’11” tall, 140 lbs., with short brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a maroon sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He may also be wearing a gold chain.

Deputies say he may be in danger, because he has not taken his medication for around 20 hours. The type of medication has not been disclosed.
