Tonight, look for lows back in the low 70s with areas of fog and a slight chance of storms, especially early evening. Thursday will bring hot and humid conditions with another chance of storms.
As temperatures climb this week and dew points hover in the low 70s, heat indices will range from 100 to 105 degrees in Indianapolis. It's important if you're outside for extended periods of time to take frequent breaks, keep yourself hydrated and wear light-colored clothing. Make sure to protect your animals too!
With the heat and moisture around the area, there will be daily storm chances. Temperatures will back down slightly by next week with highs returning to the 80s. --Danielle Dozier
