INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — IMPD homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found shot to death on the city’s west side Wednesday.

Officers were called to the 3300 block of Tara Lane, near West 34th Street and Moller Road, just after 5 p.m. on a report of a person shot.

Officers arrived to find a 21-year-old man, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. When EMS arrived, they pronounced him dead on scene.

Homicide detectives and forensics were called to the scene to gather information on the shooting.
