INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – John Deere is voluntarily recalling around 5,400 of their lawn and garden tractors due to a “laceration hazard.”

No incidents or injuries have been reported due to the hazard yet, but the company says consumers should immediately stop using the tractors and contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair.

The tractors were sold at independent dealers nationwide from December 2015 through July 2016 for between $8,800 and $11,700.

The recall includes X710, X730, X734, X738, and X739 models with serial numbers beginning with 1M0X. The model number is on both sides of the engine hood. The serial number is located on the right side, below the foot rest. A complete list of serial numbers can be found here.
