INDIANAPOLIS - What's the next move for Donald Trump after another controversial week on the campaign trail? And how is Gov. Mike Pence handling his role as Trump's running mate?

In the video above, IN Focus panelists Tim Swarens, Jennifer Wagner & Mike Murphy discuss this week's top stories and the headline-making remarks from Congressman Andre Carson (D-IN), who said Trump was "trying to sabotage himself" on the campaign trail.

Carson mentioned a story by Time Magazine about the Republican presidential nominee’s “meltdown” this summer.

“It appears as if he knows he will not be the next president of the United States, so he’s trying to sabotage this thing because he’s not used to losing,” said Carson during a press briefing. “When he sees poll numbers declining, he’s crying like a baby.”

He said Trump’s “meltdown” is actually sabotage of his own campaign in order to clear the way for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The statement came as Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and House Democratic leaders held a press conference Thursday morning in the Capitol to discuss the “House GOP’s reckless recess.”
