Indiana man wanted in multiple cases involving sexual misconduct, child pornography

SCOTT COUNTY, Ind.– Police are searching for a man wanted for questioning in multiple child molestation and pornography cases.

Christopher Broy, 39, has several warrants out of Harrison County for his arrest. The warrants include sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation, possession of child pornography and invasion of privacy.

Police describe Broy as 6’01”, approximately 200 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. In photos, Broy appears scruffy at times and sometimes has a thin beard and goatee.

Broy is accused of soliciting middle and high school females through Facebook Messenger and Snapchat.

It is believed that Broy is operating under several different Facebook and Snapchat aliases. Facebook has deactivated several of his accounts to date.

The known Facebook names include “Chris Broy,” “Chris B,” “Jeremy J_G” and “CJ Aintgivenup.” His Snapchat name is “Cjbroy46” and it appears he has a Twitter account under “Cjbroy46,” according to Scott County police.

Broy has been known to use fake profile pictures portraying him to be a young boy. He commonly used a fake age when talking to victims.

Police say Broy is aware that he has active arrest warrants and recently made a post on social media with a reference that he has a gun. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

He’s known to frequent Scott, Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. Anyone with information is asked to call the Scott County Sheriff’s office at 812-750-8400.
