Police: Men posing as home improvement workers steal Plainfield woman’s credit cards

PLAINFIELD, Ind. – Plainfield police are searching for two men who they say took advantage of a 70-year-old woman by posing as home improvement workers.

Police say while one of the men was outside talking to the woman, the other went through her house and stole her credit cards.

The men then reportedly went to Walmart, where they charged over $2,000 on the cards.

Police have released surveillance photos of the men and their truck, hoping someone may be able to identify them. If you have any information regarding this incident, you’re asked to contact Plainfield police.
