Hello everyone, welcome to the weekend! We have some changes on the way as a cold front sweeps through Indiana this afternoon. First we will see rain later today and then a cool down to wrap up the weekend!
As the front nears the area spotty showers are possible through noon with increasing cloud cover.
Around lunch time the precipitation will become more widespread and continue into the evening hours.
The front will be moving east of the state overnight pushing any rain out of the area.
An isolated strong storm is possible with damaging winds the main concern but most of the severe storms will be north in Michigan.
Some areas may see localized flooding with rainfall totals from .5 - 1.5".
If you wanted to check out the fair today heading out early is your best way to miss out on the rain.
Temperatures will be seasonal this afternoon in the low 80s.
It is looking a bit soggy for the game tonight. Showers and storms during game time with the rain coming to an end as the game wraps up.
Check out Sunday into the start of next week! Cooler air behind the front will give us a taste of fall with sunny skies for a few days. Our next system arrives midweek returning rain chances to the state.
