INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Good Monday afternoon! It's been another gorgeous day with low humidity, plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s. Check out the view of the sunrise from our Lake Monroe camera today.
This morning's lows were in the low 50s up north and upper 50s in Indianapolis. It's the coolest it's been since July 2 when the low temperature dipped to 53 degrees in Indy.
Tonight will bring a clear sky with temperatures down to near 60 degrees. We'll have a light southeast wind. Winds will remain light on Tuesday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 80s.
We'll feel an increase in the humidity Wednesday with a south, southwest wind flow 10-15 mph. Temperatures will also climb into the low to mid-80s. As a few surface lows approach the area, we'll have scattered showers and thunderstorms move in from the west by Wednesday. We'll continue the threat of storms into Thursday. Some of the storms may be strong to severe. We'll keep you updated.
The humidity will lower into Friday and we'll dry things out for the weekend. --Danielle Dozier
