Man shot on northwest side early Monday morning

Investigators at scene on Aug. 22, 2016

INDIANAPOLIS – Officers are investigating after they say a man was shot on Indy’s northwest side early Monday morning.

Police were called to the Falcon Creek Apartment Homes near West 44th Street and Moller Road.

When they arrived on scene, officers say they found a man around 19-years-old suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was awake and breathing when transported to Eskenazi hospital.

Officers are unsure of the motive and have not release any suspect information at this point.
