RECIPE: Cracked Wheat Cereal
Cracked Wheat Cereal
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup cracked wheat
In a small saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Quickly stir in cracked wheat and continue stirring to prevent lumps. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve with any favorite fruits, nuts, syrup, sugar and/or spices.
Makes 4 small or 2 very large servings.
