Colts to host charity golf event Tuesday
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For an afternoon, the Indianapolis Colts West 56th complex will focus on golf, not the upcoming season.
Owner Jim Irsay is hosting the “Pete and Alice Dye Championship 2016″ Tuesday to benefit Autism Speaks and The First Tee of Indiana. The three-hole event, which is not open to the public, will unfold on the golf course in front of the team complex and involves four Colts and four members of the PGA Tour.
Representing the Colts are kicker Adam Vinatieri, punter Pat McAfee, tight end Dwayne Allen and rookie center Ryan Kelly. Those who actually do this for a living from the PGA Tour are Avon native Patrick Rodgers, J.B. Holmes, Kevin Kisner and Charley Hoffman.
