WANTED: Police searching for man who rode bike into east side laundromat, stabbed woman

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Police are looking for a man who they say rode his bicycle to a laundromat and stabbed a woman before riding away from the scene Tuesday night.

Officers responded to a laundromat located in the 6100 block of E. 38th Street around 8:45 p.m. on reports of a person stabbed. When they arrived, they found the female victim who suffered a severe laceration to her right arm.

Surveillance video captured the suspect pull ride his bicycle into the laundromat, before getting off and walking up to the suspect and stabbing her. He then walked away and got back on his bike.

Police say the suspect used a knife with a distinct orange colored sheeth and he was riding an orange or red colored bike.

The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
